Our 'Pupil Governors' are selcted by their peers. Learners put themselves forward if they would like to represent their year group. They create a poster and share the qualities, charcteristics and skills they have which would enable them to fulfill the role successfully. An election is held and the learners with the most votes are selected to represent each year group. The Chair Person and Vice Chairs are selected from Year 6. You can meet some of our pupil governors below and find out about their passion and commitment to our school!
The Pupil Governors meet weekly and select projects to support which are informed by puil voice from across the school. Our pupil Governors not only support work in school to ensure it is constantly developing and improving but they also lead projects in the local community. For example at Christmas they visited Paris Lawn Care Home with some of our 'launchpad leaners' and took part in crafts and singing with the residents. Also this year they are raising awareness of road safety outside of our school and have conducted a climate aduit working with the organisation 'Learnng through Landscapes'. They will be sharing recommendations to improve sustainiablitly and eco-friendly initiatives to further improve our school grounds for our learners but also all creatures great and small! Please see some highlights below of their work!
