Woodland Days

We are so fortunate to have access to woodland right on our doorstep, allowing every child to trade the classroom for the great outdoors at least once a term. Our "Woodland Days" are more than just a trip outside; they are an invitation to explore the "classroom without walls."

By investigating nature firsthand, our students build vital life skills like independence and perseverance. The excitement is palpable—the children literally count down the days! Our Nursery and Reception children have access to our Woodland area each week and classes from Y1 to Y6 are able to visit the woodland each term.

This energy doesn't stay in the woods, either; it follows them back into the school building, sparking a deeper engagement with their studies and a lasting love for learning that helps every child progress.
