Term 4: How do I know who to trust?
Vlad the flea and Loxton the rat are perfectly at home in the dirt and filth of Scutari Hospital. But the arrival of Florence Nightingale and her strange companion changes everything. Will the friends be driven out or can they save the day? Find out about Florence, her nurses and Scutari Hospital through the eyes of Vlad the flea and Loxton the rat. Vlad narrates the tale as the nurses take charge and clean ... with soap! But there are other people in the hospital who are not happy with this new arrangement, and the friends will soon come up against both their nemesis and a shadowy thief in their midst. Who will win and who will have to leave?
Term 3: Is sacrifice needed for the common good?
When Flora and her pesky little brother, Crispin, are whisked away by a swirling and swooping wind, she gets the opportunity of a lifetime: the chance to give her brother away. With tempting offers from a dragonfly, the man in the moon, and even the wind itself, she will find it difficult to choose. But Flora would do anything to get rid of Crispin, wouldn’t she?
Term 2: What are the ingredients for change?
With an action outfit for every occasion, Traction Man patrols the house. Whether he is saving toys, searching the sink for the lost wreck of the sieve or rescuing damsels in distress. There is never a dull moment.
