Google Classroom serves as our official learning platform, accessible exclusively to current staff, students, and parents. Leadership and staff will consistently monitor activity, including communications and published content, to ensure safety and compliance. All users are expected to adhere to our acceptable use guidelines, remain mindful of copyright laws, and upload only appropriate materials.
Teachers utilise Google Classroom to share updates with families, including key dates, equipment needs, and meeting sign-ups. For Key Stage 2 students, the platform also serves as the hub for homework, found either in the class stream or the 'Classwork' tab. Additionally, staff use the platform to share lesson resources, interactive activities and pupil voice surveys for use during school hours.
Every Google Classroom page features a dedicated safeguarding banner at the top of the stream. This banner displays a direct email address, providing pupils with a confidential way to share worries or concerns with our Designated Safeguarding Team.
