Maths Week 2023
Maths Week England kicks off on 13th November and ends 18th November 2023.
Why are we taking part?
For you to engage with maths in a fun way

To create something we can keep as a resource to promote maths outside of the daily maths lesson.

Mangahigh Competition
Mangahigh Maths Week England Competition can help raise the profile of mathematics in their school. During Maths Week England (13th to 18th November 2023), students will be learning maths by completing fun-filled arcade-style maths games, and word problems on adaptive quizzes.
Number Day
Friday 2nd February 2024 is Number Day!
As part of celebrating Number Day this year, we created a whole school number garden. This is displayed in our school hall where all of the children can see their hard work on fluency for this week.
Money Sense workshops
We took part in Global Money Week on 18-24 March 2024.
KS1 will be undertaking: Super smoothie shop
This workshop introduces pupils to the concepts of enterprise, buying, selling and budgeting in a series of group activities involving setting up a smoothie shop.
KS2 will be undertaking: It’s party time!
This workshop requires pupils to work in groups to put together and present to the rest of the class a fully costed, reasonably priced birthday party for a child
National Numeracy Day competition
National Numeracy Day 2024 is on Wednesday 22 May!
There is an exciting opportunity to take part in the Numeracy Day competition.
