Welcome to our school website!

Our school is part of a growing and thriving village community. The school has been through a major rebuilding and refurbishment  project. The junior classrooms and other areas of the school including the hall, have been substantially refurbished; we have introduced a new ‘food tech’ room where the children learn to cook in class time and after-school clubs; and the infant classrooms (for the Nursery, Reception and Years 1/2) have been completely rebuilt. We are very proud of our new school!

We believe that children learn best when they are happy and secure and feel that their achievements will be recognised. Our philosophy is epitomised by our motto, ‘Be the best that you can be!’ which in turn is built on the key words in our vision statement: kindness, honesty, respect, commitment and achievement.

Ours is a happy, thriving and rapidly-improving school which I am very pleased to say, is now rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (November 2015). However we are not stopping there and our goal is to become a truly outstanding school.

If you’re looking for a school place in the current academic year (whether in Reception or another year group) please enquire through the school office. And if you’d like a tour of the school, please contact the school office to arrange this – I will be very happy to show you around!

In the meantime, enjoy your online visit!

Dave Evans, Headteacher
