We're going on Safari!
We have been looking at our local environment and comparing it to a different place in the world - Kenya!
We've learned about continents as well as the weather, climate and culture of Kenya in Africa.
We'll be reading the stories 'Handa's Surprise' and 'Meerkat Mail' which will help us understand a lot more about the continent of Africa.

PE: Our PE days are Monday and Friday.
Please make sure your child has full PE kit in school at all times. We aim for one indoor and one outdoor session a week in all seasons, so please make sure children have suitable clothing including a black sweatshirt or hoody and black tracksuit trousers. We recommend trainers rather than plimsoles as they are more durable and stay in place better during sports.
Reading
Please aim to read with your child for at least 10 minutes every day. Our library days are Tuesday and Thursday and children will need to bring their old book back in order to take out a new one.
