Creative Homework in Y6 - Matthew H, Elsie C, Alice D, Mia B

posted 27 Sep 2017, 05:54 by Mr Nickolls

It's been lovely to see the children's creative interpretations to the art/music 1960s homework. Even better to hear than Mia's granddad's vinyl collection played a big part! Still a week left for those in mid-flow...:)

Alfie A and Ella W - Year 6 Rounding

posted 15 Sep 2017, 06:57 by Mr Nickolls

These two were brilliant this morning! They rounded very large (and some decimal) numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000. Alfie was even able to offer help to a classmate so she could correct her work. Lovely stuff! :)

Just a quick note to say how proud I am to be the teacher of this bunch already. They have been keen to work hard, have shown good manners and a willingness to get on with each other. What a good start! :)
