Parent Pay payments

posted 26 May 2017, 03:38 by Tess MacMahon

From Friday 26th May 2017, we will no longer be taking payments for clubs/trips through Parent Pay (the school shop). You can still continue to use it for school dinners as usual.
Payments for clubs, trips etc can be made by cash, cheque or by BACS (please ask office for these details).
Please ensure that BACS payments state who and what the money is for.

Many thanks.

For parents of children who walk home unaccompanied.

posted 14 Oct 2016, 03:47 by Tess MacMahon

A concern has been raised about a van which was behind a child walking home after school. Checks are being made by the Police, but at this stage we don't believe this is a significant risk/incident - but we have reminded the older children of 'stranger danger' and to be vigilant.

Rucksacks for Calais

posted 11 Sep 2016, 12:53 by Danny Mizon

Parents Sharon Chrismas and Joanna Clarke are supporting this local initiative to reach out to the many unaccompanied children currently living in dangerous and frightening conditions in the ‘Calais Jungle’.

They are asking for donations of rucksacks (in clean and good condition) filled with items that will help the children: a warm hat, gloves and scarf; socks; a pencil case with pens/pencils/stationery; a colouring book or notebook; a cuddly toy; a reading book; a hairbrush or comb; a toothbrush and toothpaste; a note, drawing or card to the child receiving the rucksack.

The hope is that children from in and around Lewes will wish to take part – they could make up their own rucksack gift, or groups of children could do one between them.

The rucksacks need to be ready for Thursday 22nd September. You can arrange to deliver them to Jo Clarke directly, or you can leave them at the school office for collection.
